Alexis Rodriguez, MD, is a board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist at the Center for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, located in the Southern and Western Chicago suburbs. She is trained in the diagnosis and management of many gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, abdominal pain, constipation, gastroesophageal reflux feeding difficulties, and hepatitis.
Dr. Rodriguez attended college and medical school at New York University. She completed her pediatric gastroenterology training at Stanford University and pediatric residency training at Jacobi Medical Center, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.
She affiliated with multiple Chicagoland hospitals, including Advocate Christ Medical Center, Edward Hospital, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, and AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center Joliet.
Dr. Rodriguez has authored many papers that have been published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research at many national meetings and conferences. To better serve more patients, she speaks fluent Spanish.
